Bodola is a cheerful, adventurous story that shows the difficult decisions parents of children diagnosed with A.D.H.D are forced to make as their busy and spontaneous mid-graders begin to manifest their desires for independence. Like most boys and girls, Bodola is a boy who enjoys jiving, singing, playing with toys, and most of all, he loves chips and pop. He’s never been to the store by himself, and he asks Mama to please let him go today. Math by Grace: Memorization of Basic Math for Concentration-Challenged Children through Relaxation and Meditation Techniques
Dana Williams had twenty years of practice in relaxation and meditation when she developed ‘Math by Grace’ for her children. Three of her children have degrees of ADD; one is autistic. Dana says, “Whereas games, drills and explanations simply did not bring lasting results, ‘Math by Grace’ dramatically and lastingly improved the math skills of each child – which in turn greatly boosted their self-esteem.” Surprised by the results of her experiment, Williams wrote down her experiences and methods. That was ten years ago. Now her children are grown, and Williams has returned to her notes. This book represents her hope that parents with a background similar to her own can help their children overcome their blocks toward basi…

ADHD Children
Some research studies claim that as high as 10% of all American children show signs of ADHD, while other research studies argue that between 3% and 5% is a more accurate range. These discrepancies exist because diagnosis of ADHD is difficult. No laboratory test or study can scientifically identify ADHD in children. Therefore, parents, teachers and other professionals must make their own diagnoses based upon observations of a child’s behavior over time.
