ive been referred to the adhd clinic by my school about 2 weeks ago how long will it take until my first appointment??
and ho long for a full diagnosis??

my stance on adhd and other things that handicap people when they are told they have something that can be treated with drugs and end up being worse off

I have 3 little boys out of them 2 I have decided to treat for adhd after all other alternatives have failed my 9 year old has been on the medication for 5 years-although my pediatrician claims the medication is beneficial as a mother I can’t help but to feel sometimes what if he (the pedi) is wrong.

I was diagnosed as a young boy i took Ritalin for about 5 years and stoped during middle school,i am know 21 and over the years after being more educated about adhd i realized my symptoms are real bad and affected my grades during high school,i’ve tryed to suck it up for years,but after being strong and trying to deal with the symptoms i think my adhd is too severe and i want to try medication again..i just recently got insurance,and start a new job in a week in a half..as a customer service representative,bascially sitting at a desk with a phone and computer allday i really want to start treatment before work starts,i called psychiatrist friday and left alot of messages..how long does it usually take to see a psychiatrist?..and can anyone help me or have any advise to seeing a psychiatrist/specialist as soon as possible.

My 7 year old son shows the classic ADHD symptoms and I started him on Sea Buddies Concentrate yesterday (minimum dosage). He is a big boy, so I am sure we will need to give him more that the recommended starting dosage (you may give up to 10). We have also started him on DHA. How long should it be before I start to notice a change? And is there something better than Concentrate? What about Focus Factor?
